HOURLY
The hourly format has worked best for long-term on-demand consulting needs as well as one-off requests.
This structure can be set up through a consulting agreement. It is invoiced on a monthly basis after services are rendered.
A ballpark annual cost estimate can be forecasted based on our experience for customer’s blanket PO or budget request purposes. Efforts can be gated by a maximum hours or total cost threshold.
We work with our clients on a sliding scale based on timeline, complexity, depth, and volume of deliverables.
PROJECT
The project-based format has worked best for clients with defined scope of work towards a specific end goal.
This structure can be set up through a stand-alone project agreement or a SOW addendum of an existing consulting agreement. It typically consists of an upfront fee, phased/milestone-specific portion(s) to allocate uncertain technical risks, and the remainder upon completion.
You may have a specific project in mind as well as more miscellaneous consulting needs. We’re proficient in managing hybrid interactions with both hourly and project-based deliverables.
RETAINER
The retainer format has worked well for continuous, regular consulting needs of a known workload.
This structure can be set up through a consulting agreement. It is invoiced on a monthly basis to secure consultant’s availability before services are rendered.
The fixed fee is determined upfront based on an exact number of hours requested or based on deliverables and gated by minimum and maximum hours of effort.
In case of change in needs, an amendment to the existing agreement can be used to calibrate fee amount or change fee structure.
